TCP Blog Hop

It's release day over at The Cat's Pajamas Art Stamps!!! Now you can get all the new goodies for your very own. And even better news, Alma is having a Black Friday Sale that starts today!

And of course, since it is release day, we are having a blog hop with makes from all the Cat Pack.  You should have ended up here from the uber talented Wendy's blog.  If not, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the inspiration they have to share.

I have two things to share tonight.  First off is a card featuring 'Time Flies'.  When I first saw this set, I knew it would be perfect for a New Years card -

In real life, this is such a sparkly card.  I used Colorburst Liquid Metal as well as shiney metallic embossing powder.  I love all that shine, especially for celebrating New Years!

I also have a TCP Tuesday reminder.  Remember you still have plenty of time to enter and with all these wonderful new stamps and CutUps available who wouldn't want a chance to win a $50 voucher?  The challenge this month is Tag It, and here is my tag using the new stamp set 'Sent with Love' -

So here is the entire Blog Hop line up -
Jessie
Michele
Nancy
Julie
Lynn
Wendy
Brenda (that's me)

And here are all the new products -

(The Wings CutUps is free with your purchase of $65!)

And now I want to send you over to the Top Cat, Alma, so you can see the amazing creations she has made and... you can start shopping!

Thanks for hopping with us!

Aloha,
Brenda

Inspirational Verses

Hi there!  It's Brenda here today sharing a project I made a while back.  This card was created using wonderful products from the last Kennedy Grace release.  I absolutely loved the Inspirational Verses stamp set.  Here's the card that was made using a simple layout and some of the gorgeous Chantilly Cream sequins -

The verses were stamped on a scrap of watercolor paper along with several of the sweet little small flowers from Beautiful Bloom - Sweet Rose.  I got my watercolors out, dropped in some color and then fussy cut them.  I matted the sentiment on a scrap of grey cardstock and adhered the flowers.  The bottom mat was created with an embossing folder and a couple of cardstock scraps in appropriate colors were added on top.  The verse was layered next with the gorgeous sequins being the crowning touch!  Love sequins and especially these Chantilly Cream sequins!!!

I hope today's post inspires you to get out your stamps, papers and of course sequins to create something you love.  Be sure to visit the Kennedy Grace Store for the beautiful products showcased today.  Thanks so much for stopping in!

Aloha,
Brenda

Whimsie Doodles

It's my turn again over on the Whimsie Doodles blog.  Now, I'm not much of a cook.  Truth be told I would rather do the clean up as long as the chef doesn't go to crazy with with the pots and pans.  With Thanksgiving here in the US only 4 days away, I would much rather share a beverage and a conversation with a turkey than roast him, so this little turkey stole my heart.

Here is my card featuring Let's Get Basted.  I think this guy has the right idea -

I want to wish all of our US friends Happy Thanksgiving and  everyone, a wonderful week!  Thanks so much for popping in.

Aloha,
Brenda

You probably realize at this point it's Sneaky Peek Week at The Cat's Pajamas.  This is the last Cat's Pajamas release until next year.  I think you are going to likey!  We are showing you 3 fab stamp sets and 4 new CutUps.  This release is perfect for Heart Day and I'm even planning to make a couple of New Year's cards if I can make the time.

Today, I am sharing with you a mini album I made from a file folder.  There are bunches of tutorials on the web that can get you started.  Everything in this release just works so well together and this is what came out.  Get ready because this is picture heavy -

Here you see Bunny from Time Out and Nested Hearts from a previous release.

On this page you see the new Wings CutUps and if you look really hard, you'll see the new Happy stamp set.  I've also used Small EnvieGrapevine Wreath and Toppers CutUps and Holiday Window Duo Dies

This page introduces the new Sent With Love and Heart Swirl CutUps from a previous release.

These tags were stamped with the new Time Flies and Happy stamp sets.  The tags themselves were cut with Holiday Window Duo Dies and the tag from the Popup Slider Cutable.

On these pages you will see the elegant Blessed and Clock CutUps as well as the cutie pie Bear and flying envie from the new Sent with Love.  The Thankful tag was cut with the Holiday Tag Duo Die from a 2016 release.

Here you see the Clock and Wings CutUps as well as a sentiment from Time Flies.  The corner embellishments are made using Scalloped Duo Die from a past release.

I had the best time mixing and matching all the TCP products.  It's times like this I wish I had one of those linky thing-a-ma-doodles.  If you have any questions, please just leave a comment and I will be happy to answer you.  The new products I used for this project were:

This last project, I did at the last minute (I'm having such trouble with the new Mac OS!!!) but I am sooooo glad I did.  It was so fun and not as difficult as you might think thanks to the new Corner PopUp CutUp -

This was stamped with We Three Snowmen from the October release.

And here is the wonderful pop up surprise using the new Corner PopUp die along with We Three Snowmen and the older Tree/Bell and Cloud & Balloons CutUps Die.

Whew! That's it for me.  Here's the news you really want...Release Day will be 11/23 and if you would like a chance to win a $10 TCP voucher just leave a comment here or on my instagram account (brendanh50).  The winner will be announced on the TCP blog and the Facebook page.
